For example, the spruikers in front of the Sakura Club (Soi 15) and the Tiger and Shark go go bars (upstairs Soi Diamond) hand out ‘buy one drink get one free’ chits. The restriction on the libations is that it is only valid for Thai rotgut, tequila, and house liver wasters. Club Insomnia, the late night boogie barn, has a flashy leaflet offering a ‘free shot with your first drink’ and a limit of one per customer per day. The choice of shots is between a Sambucca, Tequila or a Pink Pussy. I know which one I’d be going for.
The new conjoined go-go trio (as far as ownership is concerned) of Living Dolls Showcase, The Dollhouse and Sisterz have a one free tequila offer in each place. Based on the old joke of one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor I think I’d make sure to be in Living Dolls Showcase for the third one. That way as you fall head first towards the floor you might be mistaken for being part of the show. Both The Dollhouse and Sisterz have draught amber fluid at 55 baht all night.
