Guest-Friendly Hotels
Although prostitution in Thailand is illegal and has been since 1960, a tourist bringing a lady back to his hotel room for a harmless game of Scrabble, even if it is only for a short period of time, can find himself being charged an extra fee (generally payable up front) for having the said lady come to his room.
Thankfully, there are many hotels in Pattaya that do not charge for bringing a lady back to the room, whether for a short stay or a longer period that may involve a bout of mattress dancing.
Listed below are just some of the places we recommend. As a rule of thumb, pretty much all hotels where the daily impost is under 800 baht a night have no problem with guests bringing persons with whom they have possibly only just become acquainted back for a good lie down.
