‘Phuket Bar’ in Pattaya re-opened
Just one day after being raided by Banglamung District Licensing officers the Phuket Bar on Third Road, opposite the fire station in South Pattaya, was back in business.
When the 14 August raid took place it was alleged the bar was opening after hours, playing loud music, and taking over the footpath, as well as allowing under aged patrons. A report suggested the bar was owned by ‘local officials’ and although it had allegedly been ‘ordered to close until further notice’ obviously that notice was expedited in record time and the place is back in business.
