11 July 2009 No Russian roulette in here: The dancing damsels in the Las Vegas ogling den (Soi Yamato) operate in a similar blue vein to the wallet emptiers in places located nearby such as Hot and Cold, Far East Rock and Club Nevada (all in Soi Post Office). While none of the four mentioned could lay claim to having a bevy of gorgeous knob-fondlers, the management in each realise the majority of the their thirst-quenching clientele will be drawn from the ranks of expats and long-term regulars. In other words, the phrase ‘short time’ and ‘upstairs’ will be ranked high on the list of terms used between the hours of opening and closing. The music in each joint is roughly similar, both in pop-rock style and the age of the performing artists. Of the four, three are operated by foreign expats, with Hot and Cold run by a local. They are perfect places for those whose tastes in female company are well and truly laid-back.
